My Mom is taking a photography class at a community college. My mom does not believe she is talented in anyway with Art, she has it in her mind that I am the only Artist in our family and she is not worthy to be called an artist. Now I have seen her "doodles" and let me tell you, they are what I aspired as a child to be able to create. She has her own style that is amazing. Well her Arthritis make it very difficult to be able to draw anymore but still I always dreamed to be able to draw as she did.
So anyways the Photography class, has been really good for her, and her confidence.
Her recent assignment was on nature and it turned out amazingly this is one of the 5 photos needed. But this one speaks to me, I feel that this shows the personal struggles she has been through, depression and loss just two of many struggles, but an underlying feeling of hope for the future.
